Notes
System Fusion AMS: Most System Fusion (C4FM) repeaters in this list operate under automatic mode select (AMS). This means they can re-transmit both analog FM and digital, depending on what is input. Listening to a Fusion repeater in digital mode, while using an analog radio, sounds like killer bee swarm static.
Automatic Mode Select: “This function instantly recognizes whether the received signal is C4FM digital or conventional FM. The communication mode automatically switches to match the received mode. Even if a digital signal is being used, you can switch to FM communication if radio signals are received from a FM station.”
Note – a control operator may set the repeater to fixed digital mode, especially during digital-only nets or special operations.
FM Analog Users On Fusion Repeaters: Some Fusion repeaters provide an outgoing tone squelch (TSQL) during FM transmit. Program this into your radio so you hear FM analog only. This way, if the repeater is re-broadcasting digital you will not hear it. Win!
Caveat Emptor: Data on this page is sourced from club/organization websites, published files or repeater lists, and online directories like RepeaterBook. Most entries are personally verified working by myself (KB3KAI) where possible. “Closed” or “Private” repeater systems not open to general ham use are intentionally omitted.
